Shelton Residence landscape

This house is situated at the end of a steep hill that turns left into a narrow garage driveway, making it tricky to navigate at night.

The small LED indicator lights distinguish the curb and draw you into the driveway. The path lights soften a very angular property. An uplight on the Japanese Maple tree and a long-throw step star complete the simple but dramatic landscape lighting. The two slim bollards define the property edges.

"Tom [Zachary, Landscape Architect], We're sure glad we agreed to let you conspire with Gwen and your plant friends instead of limiting you to the Hardscaper. Plantings and nightime lighting really dress up and appropriately soften this place.."
